Downloading Carbonite

hello, I'd like to find out how to download carbonite to World of Warcraft when I have windows vista and the interface/addons files were removed by a patch not too long ago. I dont know how to redownload it and i'd like some help. Thanks, Diadarra

My addons button isnt showing in my character interface

Ok so after a server restart my addons dissappeared and so did the addons button i tried to reinstall them manually and that didnt work if anyone can help me please post.

Your cursed client has given me a key logger called gamespy. My account was hacked. This is the second time this has happend. The first time was about a year ago when I tried the cursed client. I have contacted local law enforcement and well as the FBI internet fraud division.

The fun thing I have noticed about Curse Client v4 it likes to overwrite my firewall rules to give me the lovely ads, I don't mind the ads myself but what I do mind is an application overwriting my global blocks to give me them. TBH this is more like malware behaviour, if I decide to block IP's I don't think you should make your program bypass them for your own gain. Everytime I run the damn thing I have to add all my rules again.

I would like a dev to add thier thoughts on this behaviour

but i would like the fluid like art of spartanui (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/spartan-ui.aspx)

spartanui has these fluid like bars for health, mana, energy, etc. where the bars look like they are filled with strange liquids and gels can anyone help me out on this?

Seriously, who designed the totaly useless password recovery system?

The link only sends me to "http://my.curse.com/account/dashboard/", and not to the page where I can change my password. And when I go to the password page to change it, I have to know my old one to be able to change. But if I knew my "old" password, why the heck would I use password recovery..

But im the admin! Manually installation works, but not with the client.

WoW-Can't see the addon box at character selection sheet?

Playing World of Warcraft. I'm using Curse Client v3 as I'm having troubles installing Curse Client v4. I installed Quest Helper via the Curse Client and normally when you go to the character selection page when you first log in, you see a little addonbox that you need to check in order use the addons in game. My problem is that I don't see that box, so I can't check it, therefore I can't use my chosen addon. I looked in the addons folder and saw that Curse Client had put Quest Helper in there just as it was supposed to. Please help? I haven't had a problem like this before.

DK Tanking - Lose hp to fast

I'm a DK Tank. I've got: 551 in def and 25.88% dodge, 18.81% parry 30.8k hp (with out any buff).
Some healers say i'm losing o much hp to quick.. So i need some help.

I maybe should chance some def gem to parry or dodge gem? or is the stats ok, and i just need to go with stamina gems?

Pitbull shows a stupid stacked frames.

Just downloaded pitbull(well about 2-3 hours ago and am trying to get it to work ever since) and I've no idea what is that in screenshot and why is it doing that, i wanna disable it, or move the frames but the frames seems locked and only appears in combat, so its probably not focus frame. My first idea was that its portrait, traget, targets target in layout menu, but disabling it didnt help. Maybe i'm doing something wrong. Please help. Atm i'm disabling pitbull cos its just too annoying that in middle of screen theres some friggin frames on which you cant even read anything really.

I'm posting this simply because I could have used it myself after installing the Curse Client v4 alpha… this thing really needs a guide for now, and I haven't seen one, so here's my attempt. I'm not affiliated with anyone in any way; I'm just a user writing from my personal experience. Feedback is welcome. If this helps you, please let me know. If it's useless, please let me know.

(Note: This guide assumes you know how to use your Mac. For instance, I'll tell you to download the Curse Client disk image and install it wherever you like, rather than detailing the steps to double-click the disk image icon, drag the client to a folder on your hard drive, click the disk image, click the File menu, click Eject…)

Open the client and type in your Curse.com login info. If this is the first time you've run it, it may take a few moments to initialize itself, and then you'll see the main window.

If the Games list on the left sidebar is empty, you'll have to add WoW manually: Open the Preferences and click the + button on the bottom. Double-click on the name and set it to whatever you want it to be listed as in the client, then click Set Path and browse to your World of Warcraft folder. Note: Select the WoW folder, NOT the AddOns folder. If it says "Executable is missing," try again. When finished, close the Preferences window.

You should now see a list of any addons you already have installed. If the list is blank even though you know you have addons installed, click Refresh. If nothing happens (as it did for me), restart the Curse Client.

Installing addons with the client from links on the Curse website doesn't work (yet). To install addons, click "Get More Addons" in the toolbar. You'll see a searchable list of every addon available. Use the search bar and the category menu below it, find an addon you like, select it, and click Install/Update. If nothing happens, that means it's working-they haven't (yet) implemented a progress bar or anything. The addon's status (downloading, updating, etc.) is listed under its name, but the status only updates when you select or deselect the addon; if you like watching things download, you can click Install and then rapidly press the up and down keys.

If you have multiple installations of WoW, and you install an addon… post what happens, because I have no idea how that's handled.

Don't forget to clear the search bar and the category when you go back to your installed addons.

To update your installed addons, click Refresh to make sure the client's data is up-to-date, then click "Update All", or select the addons you want to update and click "Install/Update". Beta versions of addons are apparently not supported in the client.
